COVID 19 Updates

Dear Patient,

The State of Pennsylvania is now allowing dentists to resume non-emergency care.

Our practice has incorporated many new upgraded disinfection protocols to address COVID-19 to ensure a safe environment for you and our staff. We are following the American Dental Association (ADA), The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) infection control and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) recommendations.

We are one of the first in the Pittsburgh area to incorporate the use of hospital-grade UVC light to clean our practice operatories, sterilization area, front desk, reception room, staff lounge and restroom.  This is not required technology however we have chosen this disinfection method to ensure the cleanest environment. When you see a blue light emanating from one of our treatment rooms this is the new technology in action.

In addition to the UV light we will be using protocols for infection control best suited to destroy COVID-19 and other pathogens.  This will occur before and after your appointment.  These stringent methods will sanitize our clinical and all common areas for your safety.

As for our PPE (personal protective equipment) you will notice that our staff members will be wearing N95 or KN95 masks during your treatment. Every room will have an industrial grade HEPA filter unit.

While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your well-being and optimal dental care.  We look forward to seeing you and are available to answer any questions by calling 412-681-7171 or emailing at frontdesk@stephenmmiller.com.

Sincerely,

The Team at the Miller Center for Comprehensive Dentistry
