Professional Bio
Dr. Charu S. Chandra provides monthly on-site periodontal care in partnership with Dr. Miller at the Miller Center for Comprehensive Dentistry, including the diagnosis and treatment of periodontitis at all stages of the disease as well as dental implants surgery. Dr. Chandra entered dentistry as a general practitioner working in the field of dentistry for five years before pursuing a professional residency program in periodontology at the University of Pittsburgh School where she earned, in addition to her degree in dental medicine, a certification in periodontology and a Master of Dental Science degree (MDS). Dr. Chandra, a 25-year veteran of the dental profession, has been consistently honored with the Pittsburgh Magazine Top Dentist Award for the past six years. Outside of her technical expertise, Dr. Chandra is probably best known for her congeniality, pleasing chair-side manner, and compassionate patient care.
